You can tell your skin's undertones by
looking at your wrists, If your veins look blue, then you most
likely have a pinkish/ beige undertone. If your veins look green,
then you probably have yellow/ olive undertones
To understand foundation colors a little better, here is a
breakdown of the codes:
- N - neutral - neutral blend of pink & yellow
- C - cool - yellow/olive
- NC - neutral cool - neutral yellow beige
- NW - neutral warm - neutral pink beige
- W - warm - pink
The numbers after the letters denote the level of color: the higher the number, the darker the colour (eg: NC15 is the lightest of the neutral cool tones, and NC65 is the deepest).
